Quality and Accreditation

Introduction

     In pursuit of ensuring total quality  the faculty has established Quality and Academic Accreditation unit in order to achieve the goal of  the faculty to get the accreditation for all programs and also to establish an administrate quality system.

Accreditation

     The faculty of engineering is working to acquire both national and international accreditations for all its academic programs to ensure the educational quality of its programs.

Faculty Quality Project:

      The faculty established a quality system according to the international standard   ISO 9001:2008.   This project was started at the beginning of the academic year 2011/2012 in collaboration with the Center of Total Quality at the King AbdulAziz University and has three phases:

Phase I: The development of organization structure

Phase II: Policy formulation and adoption of quality

Phase III: Preparation of job description

The faculty was certified on July 2013
